- I am Trish McCarty. After a long career in corporate America, I noticed a lot of unhappy kids attached to unhappy parents and unhappy teachers. How could we live in such a fabulous country and have so many unhappy kids? I decided to get some friends together and open a school based on achieving each student's individual goals, interlaced with motivational learning and connected to mentors. Ideas came in from everywhere. We built pride and fun into each day. The students flourished and grew. People started hearing about what we had accomplished and began to partner with us. I decided to create this blog so you could get an inside view of things that happen at the school, because most days it is amazing. This is the American Dream, teaching one another to lead a wonderful life.
